Hi, I'm Stefanie. My intrigue about the Italian people, language, culture, and way of life started (albeit a little begrudgingly) when I was 13. What can I say? My father had received a job opportunity to move to a country I knew nothing about.

But, 20 years later, I went back and fell in love. It was such a visceral experience that I started to think I had long-lost Italian heritage. (Sadly, Ancestry confirmed that I do not.) That's when a friend told me that I would always be an honorary Italian.

I can't wait to share my thoughts on Italy -- especially all of the things that make it special -- with you.
